Youth Squad

Started in 2019, the Gotham Volunteer EMS Youth Squad joins young people from Ridgewood, Middle Village, Glendale, and Woodhaven Richmond Hills together to learn First Aid, CPR, and see first hand career options in the emergency medical field. The Youth Squad works with practicing Emergency Medical Technicians to learn new skills, make new friends, and helps support a volunteer organization that provides emergency medical services to these communities.

    • Applicants must be currently enrolled in high school

    • Applicants must maintain a “C” or better average

    • Applicants must be at least 14 years old

    • Applicants must commit to attending two (2) monthly meetings

    • Applicants must be granted permission by parent/guardian to join
